The Genesis

The genesis of ADRENALIN AWARDS began in 2000 with hosts 302 Entertainment, Garry "G-man" Corporal at Elsmere Skating Center.  The foundation of the event was a Friday night elegant dance party, a Saturday night of non-stop style skating with a variety of music for 5 hours (pure adrenalin) played by Maestro GeeMan with skaters traveling across the east coast to experience the rush that GMan so stylishly played.

In 2002, GeeMan and SkateGroove joined forces to host the 3rd Annual Adrenalin Skate Jam weekend. During this weekend the very first Adrenalin Award was presented to renowned DJ Big Bob of New York City for his years of service and dedication to the skating community.

In 2003 Due to a major blizzard, known as the “North American Blizzard of 2003 or President’s Day storm,” Adrenalin Awards and Skate Jam committee had to reconsider the timing of the event and after thoughtful consideration, Adrenalin Awards weekend was moved to the first weekend of May, annually.

Years 2006 – 2009 the Adrenalin Awards hosted the 1st of its kind “vendors expo” which gave way for vendors, entrepreneurs and specialists to showcase their talents to the skating community. The  current and physical Adrenalin Award was handcrafted  by Hezekiah a North Carolina Style Skater.

302 Entertainment and Style Skaters Television Network teamed together to host the new and revived Adrenalin Award and Style Skaters Weekend.

The Adrenalin Awards is a three-day weekend hosted in Washington, DC: the nation's capitol during the first week in May annually and is packed with fun + elegance + roller skating = Pure Adrenalin.

Then, in 2009 Styles Skater’s Network became the official host of the Adrenalin Awards and Style Skater’s weekend.
